Mission Outreach: Missionary to Mali, West Africa

Frode
Brügger Sætre is preparing to be a missionary to Mali in
West Africa. After studying French in Paris, he hopes to minister
to the Fulani people.
Frode is a member of Bergen International Church where he has been
involved since before it was founded in 2002. He was educated at School
of Mission and Theology in Stavanger, has worked several years with
international students, and was ordained as a missionary pastor in
Bergen in 2007.
Bergen International Church supports Frode by donating 10 % of all our
various offerings, to NMS (the Norwegian Missionary Society) who sends him out .

Facts about Mali
The
Republic of Mali is a landlocked country in West Africa. The
country is named after the ancient Mali empire. The name of the
country, which comes from the bambara word for hippopotamus, indicates
the importance of the two main rivers, the Niger river and the
Senegal river.
